2008 Junior shooting program starts UP !

 

On Saturday February 28th , Ronnie Beal held a meeting for Juniors interested in being on the Clubs Junior High power Rifle team .7 young people showed up. the day started inside with some " classroom time " covering safety ( as they say at the Camp Perry National Matches " 1st , last , and always ! " ), what is involved, team rules and responsibilities . Ronnie then covered positions and the course of fire . The day finished outside with firing rimfires at the new outdoor range .

There will be Junior shooting practice the last Saturday of every month. Coach Beal also has details about other activities such as the CMP/USMC weeklong shooting camp at Camp Butner ( the end of June) , practices and matches at  Camp Butner , and our trip to the National Matches at Camp Perry Ohio.  Please contact Ronnie  for more details .
