RGC 3-Gun Report\u00a0for Jan. 13, 2018<\/p>\n
Nice \u201cbrisk\u201d day but no rain-hallelujah! Ten hardy souls showed up to shoot so John Kiwacka had a good fast-action pistol stage in the pit while Billy Haynes ran a \u201cjumping clays\u201d event up on the main range. Thanks to both these guys for their great efforts to keep us entertained on such a harsh-weather day.<\/p>\n
Next we had a 3-gun event with clays, a paper silhouette and steel silhouettes to test medium range marksmanship skills. Biggest challenge we faced was repairing wrecked steel silhouette bolts after they were clobbered by 12 gauge slugs; but even that made for some entertaining runs.<\/p>\n
Managed to squeeze in an abbreviated rifle\/pistol stage before calling it a day. Lots of good shooting by everyone but have to say that Billy really dominated his division….rest of us need to get out more…<\/p>\n
