A cold start, but with no wind blowing it was tolerable. Nine participants with three in each level, four fast stages, 72rds, and we were finished by 12:00. Bad news is the bridge over the lake is out, so no lunch at Buddy’s Tavern. With the Get Away burned down, that just leaves us the restaurants in Richfield. Most people wanted to get home, so we didn’t go out as a group to eat lunch this time.
Emily won first in level 1, Bobby won first in level 2, Scout won first in level 3.
There were a couple stages with very close times. On stage 2, Bob beat Emily by 0.43 seconds. On stage 3, I beat Scout by 0.11 seconds. Emily and Bob tied for first place, with Emily having the fastest total time of 201.62 to Bob’s 223.84.
We started a 50/50, voluntary participation, $1 per ticket. The person with the winning ticket gets half of the pot and the other half of the pot goes to the club. Bobby won this time ($7).
Thank you to everyone for keeping the match running smoothly and the clean up after the match.
March 14th will be a Pistol and Shotgun match.
Bob informed us the 2025 awards banquet will be on March 28 at the Woodmen of the World in Denton.
Hope to see you all next month.
