Jerry, John & I are putting together what will most likely be the only 3-Gun match at RGC this year so this will be a good time to be sure you have competed with all three guns, making you eligible for year-end awards.
Prepare for some fast-paced shooting & reloading with as simple a game plan as we can come up with for most stages. You need to get in some dry-fire and loading practice, always being aware of the four safety rules. Magazine pouches for your rifle/pistol as well as some type of shot shell holders are going to be mandatory if you want to be competitive. Carrying mags and shells in pockets is not the way to go.
You’ll need 50 standard velocity shot shells(#7 1/2 or #8 shot only), 100 rounds pistol ammo and 100 rounds rifle ammo. We will not allow “shell catchers” in this match but we will make every effort to see that you get a chance to retrieve your brass after each stage.
